Adult ADHD Assessments
Since early 2026 Greater Manchester has ceased funding the NHS Right to Choose ADHD assessments, resulting in thousands of people being placed on a 3+ year NHS waiting list.
In the hope of getting treatment sooner, we now offer complete Adult ADHD Assessments for those who just want to know and then have the option of seeking future treatments such as psychological therapies or seeking NHS or Private referrals for medication.
We aim to offer this assessment at the cheapest price in Greater Manchester so that price is not a barrier to getting diagnosed.
Assessment Procedure
To have a complete and objective assessment process we rely on a diagnostic interview as well as a battery of empirical psychological assessments.
Your assessment is comprised of:
- A screening questionnaire
- A self-report form
- A third-party (usually a parent or spouse) report form
- A diagnostic interview using the DIVA-5
- A diagnostic questionnaire using the CAARS-2
- Psychometrics to rule out other mental health diagnoses
Cost
Our full assessment process, including the 2-hour interview and complete report write up is £500.
